Mobilities

During the project we implemented two mobilities:

– Short-term joint staff training in Spain

– Blended mobility of young people in Italy

These two activities aimed at testing the efficiency of the Methodology, clarity and exhaustiveness of the Manual and the practical implementation of the Toolkit.

The mobilities allowed partners to achieve a first empowerment of participants as operators, through conveying theoretical knowledge, transversal skills and tools to work with youngsters. Participants’ feedback enabled the partnership to finalize the theoretical and practical contents of the final outputs we offer you.

SHORT-TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING IN SPAIN

During the Short-term joint staff training, organised in Spain from 11 to 15 April 2022, we trained 15 operators (3 per each Country involved) providing them the knowledge to improve their competences related to the implementation of the CREATIVE EMOTIONAL JOURNEY program and their work with young people.

The staff training offered the professionals the opportunity to experience a learning process compound of blends among online, offline, experiential, face-to-face activities to assimilate and apply this approach in their daily youth work to increase participants’ educational possibilities. We prepared them for the piloting phase with youngsters, and they were directly involved in the last phase of production, in the assessment of the intellectual outputs and in the dissemination activities.

Moreover, they have now the competences to be mentors for other operators interested in our program.

BLENDED MOBILITY OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ITALY

During the mobility of young people, organised in Italy from 18 to 25 September 2022, 25 young people (of which 5 with fewer opportunities) and 5 youth workers, experienced the blended format of our CREATIVE EMOTIONAL JOURNEYs. This activity involved some of the participants attending the local pilot, so to ensure their engagement and their preparation. The role of the young participants was, not only to test and assess the final products, experience and results, in an intercultural context, but to be actively involved in providing us suggestions useful for follow up activities.

This mobility aimed to encourage the exchange between the youngsters involved from different Countries during the local piloting and created a learning environment where participants experienced non formal education activities, workshops, debates and self-reflection, improving their topic-related knowledge and awareness and their transversal skills.
